Their first album in eight years, the longest gap of time between any two AC/DC albums, Black Ice is a heavier effort than 2000's 'Stiff Upper Lip'. Angus Young makes use of heavier riffs and shredding throughout, which adds to the infamous wail of singer Brian Johnson, who takes control of lyricalduties for the first time in twenty years. The album is preceded by the single, 'Rock 'n' Roll Train'.
Black Ice is the upcoming fifteenth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, set to be released on October 18, 2008 for Australia and October 20 for the rest of the world. It will be their first album in eight years, since the release of Stiff Upper Lip in 2000, the longest gap between AC/DC's studio albums to date. The legendary rockers are slated to begin an 18-month world tour in October, with the trek reportedly kicking off on around Halloween in Chicago.
nuke: As of October 7th, 2008, Black Ice was leaked onto several Bit torrent sites, although there is a glitch in Track 9 (Decibel) at 2:28 on all versions currently circulating.And by the 8th of October the final 15th song release leaked completely over several internet sites. How the leak occurred is not, as yet, known.
